PMI’s Marketing Campaign Teleport Quiz Has Been Shortlisted for the EGR Operator Awards 2021
We are delighted to announce that our Teleport Quiz Marketing Campaign has been shortlisted in the prestigious EGR Operator Awards 2021 for the Best Marketing campaign of the year in the Operator Categories section.
2021 has been a year of explosive growth for Parimatch in Asia with the help of PMI. By the end of Q2, an applied general marketing campaign which is focused mainly on cricket, truly India’s most beloved sport, has helped us become the fastest-growing brand in the Asian region, according to the share of search numbers in the region, which grew up to 4.5%.
The marketing mix in Q2 alone saw:
- Media advertising on sports and entertainment websites – 17 websites.
- Video streaming platforms to watch IPL live, more than 10 mln views.
- Influencers, and streamers – 43 videos, reach more than 50 mln views.
- Affiliates – 275 unique affiliates were involved.
- Deposits’ race landing page and product add-on.
But the key event here was something else: when we realized that the delayed IPL, essential cricket tournament, would resume in September, we birthed the idea of ‘Teleport Quiz‘. Focusing on an “immersive experience”, we decided to gift our users the opportunity to travel right to the pitch in Dubai to watch IPL live.
The basic communication idea behind the brilliant and impetuous meaning of the word Teleport is to allow users to navigate through all the products even faster than before, thanks to the technical upgrades introduced during the 2-month break. And, of course, the cherry on the cake was the opportunity to take part in our magical quiz for a chance to attend the grand IPL tournament for free.
The promotion was an explosive and vibrant addition to our main marketing campaign, the increase in the core indicator in Q2 compared to Q1 is very encouraging: +140% of new players.
The EGR Operator Awards is the equivalent of the Oscars for the egaming sector. The award honours the best B2C operators for setting the highest standards in this industry.
The winner will be revealed at an official awards ceremony at Grosvenor House in London on 25 November 2021.
